Day 1

Visit: The King Memorial Chorten-Changgangkha Monastery

Today, you will take a flight to Bhutan where you will have the chance to enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Everest, Kanchenjungha and other famous Himalayan peaks, including sacred Mount Jumolhari and Jichu Drake Peaks in Bhutan.

Upon arrival at Bhutan Paro Airport, you will be greeted by our local representative who will drive you to Thimphu, a journey that takes you through the valley of Thimphu, allowing you to enjoy the views of the river and arid and rocky landscape.

After lunch, you will start your discovery tour in the mysterious highland that is Bhutan. Your tour includes the King Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Monastery and Buddha Point. Then you will be transferred back to your hotel.


The King Memorial Chorten was built in memory of the Third King ofBhutan who reigned from 1952-1972.

Changangkha Monastery-ChangangkhaLhakhang is one of the oldest monasteries in the Thimphu valley. It was built in the 15th century by a descendant of Lama Phajo, the man who starteddrukpakagyu in Bhutan.

Buddha point is the best site to enjoy the view of theThimphu valley. In the evening visit the dzong (fortress).

Day 2

Visit: Simtokha Dzong-Dochula Pass-Paper making factory-Buddha Point-Traditional Art Shool-Mini Zoo

After breakfast you will continue tour of Thimphu.

SimtokhaDzong was built in the year 1629 and is the oldest Dzong in the country. The road that climbs up to Dochula Pass dotted with colorful prayer flags and 108 Stupa. Dochula Pass is at an altitude of 3150m, if the weather permits, this pass offers the most spectacular view over the high peaks of the Eastern Himalayans. You may enjoy a hot cup of tea or coffee at Dochula resort.

While visiting the traditional paper making factory and The School of Traditional Arts you will get to know the traditional handicraft industry of Bhutan and its development situation. See takin, the national animal of Bhutan, while visiting the mini zoo.

During the evening you can stroll through the town, visit local handicraft shops, and do some shopping. You will spend the night in a hotel in Thimphu.

Day 3

Visit: Taktsang Monastery-Drujgyal Dzong-Kyichu Lhakhang

After breakfast, drive to Paro and start the day trip by hiking up to the Taktsang Monastery. The trail takes you through pines and oak meadows. It takes about two hours to reach the viewpoint. Visitors can take a short break along the way at the café to have tea or coffee, and a good view of monastery.

DrukgyalDzong- The best site to enjoy the view of Mt. Jhomolhari.

KyichuLhakhang is the oldest temple in Bhutan which was built by a Tibetan king in 7th century to subdue the demons.

In the evening you can enjoy leisure time in the town. Overnight in Paro.
