Day 1 Arrive in Dunhuang (L)
    Mingsha Hill
Visit the Mogao Grottoes, Mingsha Sand Dunes and Crescent Moon Lake.
Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes are an ancient art treasure house with the largest scale and most content preserved in China today.

Day 2 Dunhuang - Yangguan - Yumenguan - Dunhuang (B/L)
 
Drive westward into the big Gobi-desert to search the ruins of passes and walls of Han Dynasty.
Located 70km southwest of Dunhuang, Yangguan Pass is firstly built in 114 B.C. in Han Dynasty to resist the Huns' evasion.
Yumenguan Pass is located on a hillock 100km northwest of Dunhuang and is an important pass of the north route on the Silk Road. After Zhangqian served as envoy to the West Region, a mass of silk and tea from Central China were exported abroad through this pass and in return, fruit and other specialties were brought in.

Day 3 Dunhuang - Jiayuguan (B/L)
 
Board on the train eastward to Jiayuguan (Duration: 4 hours 30 minutes by soft seat), the west termination of Ming Dynasty Great Wall. Visit the fortress, the first beacon tower and the Great Wall Museum.
As the termination of the Great Wall, Jiayuanguan Pass stands between the snow-capped Qilian peaks to the south and Black Mountain of the Mazong Range to the north. It served as the gateway to the Chinese empire from the west. It is the most impressive site in the Hexi Corridor, and the pervading sense of history is overwhelming.

Day 4 Jiayuguan  (B)
