Day Trip to Wuzhen, Shanghai tour 1 day
Wuzhen, a town with a history of 1,200 years, is widely known as one of the ten historical cultural towns in China, popular China destinations in 2005, charming town of China. This small town, with its black tiled, tung oilpainted timber framework houses, that contrast sharply with its white walls and gray flagging, brings to mind a Chinese ink and wash painting.

Itinerary:
Picked up from your hotel in Shanghai at around 9:00am, and transferred to Wuzhen by a deluxe van, about 1 hour drive from Shanghai.
Upon arrival, you visit Hundred-bed Museum, Wine Workshop and the unique view of "the Bridge in Bridge". Then enjoy an interesting puppet shadow play.
Taste local cuisines for lunch at a restaurant at about 13:00pm.
In the afternoon, continue to visit the ancient pawnshop, Folk Custom Museum, God Fortune Bay, Dyeing workshop. Enjoy a boat tour before leaving the town.
Transfer back to Shanghai at about 4:00pm, and drop off at your hotel.
Wuzhen: A water town with a history of over 1,000 years since its establishment in 872AD. It lies in the north of Hangzhou city of Zhejiang Province, and at the center of the triangle formed by Shanghai, Hangzhou and Nanjing. In Wuzhen, there are more than 100 hectares of late 19th century original buildings and more than 120 ancient stone bridges in different shapes. It's just like a giant museum of ancient architecture.
