Day 1 Arrive in Shanghai (D)
Arrive in China's biggest city where you will be met by your tour guide and transfer to your hotel . After a short break, transfer out for a welcome dinner prepared for you at a fine local restaurant.

Day 2 Shanghai (B/L)
Shanghai is China's most vibrant city with a long and colourful history. On your escorted city tour, visit the Shanghai Museum and Old Town, stroll along the Bund and Nanjing Road, visit a household community and local resident's home, and learn how ordinary people live in modern China.

Day 3 Shanghai - Suzhou by private car (B/L)
Leave for Suzhou after breakfast (100km, 1hour 30minutes). With its long history, elegant gardens and canals, Suzhou has been always a must-go destination for people home and abroad. Today's tour includes a visit to the Hanshan Temple, the Tiger Hill and stroll along the Grand Canal. Have a class of traditional Chinese horticulture in the Master' of Nets Garden.

Day 4 Suzhou - Wuzhen by private car (B/L)
Suzhou is regarded as the home of silk. This morning we'll visit a silk factory, learn how silkworms turn out to be silk and silk products. Then proceed to Wuzhen (100km, 1 hour 30minutes), one of the most beautiful water town in East China. History, culture, nature at Wuzhen are put together in such a harmonious way that you couldn't help falling in love with the dreamful peace and quiet of the town.

Day 5 Wuzhen - Hangzhou by private car (B/L)
Continue to explore the old town in the morning. After lunch leave for Hangzhou (90km, 1hour 30minutes). Another ancient capital city in Southern China. Topping the sightseeing list is a visit to Huqingyutang, an old pharmacy store with a museum dedicated to the traditional Chinese medicine. Later in the day visit the Lingyin Temple in the lush green hills northwest of the city.

Day 6 Hangzhou (B/L)
Today's tour begins with a West Lake cruise trip and a visit to the Fish & Flower Park, then proceed to a tea village, home of the finest green tea in China. Talk with local farmers and have lunch at farmer's home, taste typical Hangzhou cuisine.

Day 7 Hangzhou-Guilin by plane (B/L)
Today we get up early to have a Taichi class by the lake and you will see many local people doing morning exercises there. Return to your hotel to freshen up then transfer to the airport. Fly to Guilin, one of China's most idyllic cities.
Visit the mysterious and colorful caverns at The Reed Flute Cave.
Transfer to your hotel. Evening free.

Day 8 Guilin - Yangshuo (B/L)
Transfer to the Zhujiang Pier(about 1 hour drive)for a 4.5 hours wonderful Li River Cruise(Lunch is served aboard). You will enjoy the picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields, farms and villages with water buffalos, cows wondering around on both sides of the river bank. Disembark at the one-thousand-year-old town Yangshuo in the afternoon and explore the local market lined with stalls and souvenir shops selling traditional ornaments and paintings of landscapes. The street is also featured with various bars and cafes which attract tourists from every corner of the world.

Day 9 Yangshuo - Guilin (B/L)
Transfer to the silver cave and 2 ancient bridges- Dragon bridge and Fuli bridge on the way back to Guilin. Have lunch in local restaurant. In the afternoon take an excursion to Daxu, a well-preserved village where old houses and traditional crafts still prevail.
Transfer back to your hotel. Evening free.

Day 10 Guilin - Xian by plane(B/L)
Fly to Xian, an ancient capital of China. Meet and transfer to your downtown hotel. After lunch in local Chinese restaurant visit the Shaanxi History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Ancient City Wall.

Day 11 Xian (B/L)
The discovery of the 2200-year-old Terracotta Warriors in 1974 once shocked the world. Inside the museum, three exhibition halls house the continuing excavation of an army of 7000 terracotta soldiers and horses that guard the tomb of China's first emperor-Qin Shihuang. Visit the Great Mosque and the market street in the Muslim Quarters.

Day 12 Xian - Beijing by plane (B/L)
Transfer to the airport for a morning flight to Beijing, the capital of China. Met and transferred to downtown. After lunch at local restaurant, pay a visit to the Temple of Heaven where the Ming and Qing Emperors prayed to heaven for good harvest. Explore some of Beijing's old Hutongs-the traditional courtyard residences cut into blocks by narrow alleyways.

Day 13 Beijing (B/L)
Beijing is an amazing city and today we begin our sightseeing with a walk on Tiananmen Square, then move on to visit the Forbidden City, magnificent imperial palace of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Visit the enchanting Summer Palace, a huge imperial resort for the Qing emperors.
Night entertainment: Chinese Kung-fu performance

Day 14 Beijing (B/L)
To almost all the first comers, the Great Wall is a must-see site.
This morning you will head for Juyongguan Pass to hike the wonderful Great Wall. Lunch is served at local restaurant. Later the journey will take you to the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the peaceful shadow of Longevity Mountain. Transfer back to your hotel.

Day 15 Depart from Beijing (B)
Free till being transferred to the airport for flight back home.
