Day 1

Beijing   (D)

Upon arrival at Beijing International Airport, your local English-speaking guide will greet you at the exit of Arrival Hall and he/she is holding a Welcome Card with Absolute China Tours and your name. The wheelchair is prepared for you. Besides, we specially arrange one personal assistant to push your wheelchair and help you get in the 7-seat van we arrange.
Then you will be driven to the hotel of downtown. It takes approx. 1 hour by driving. After check-in, enjoy your free time!
In the evening, you will be transferred to taste a welcome dinner, famous Peking Roast Duck dinner. After that, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Take a good rest!

Day 2

Beijing   (B, L, D)

This morning, drive to visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City which is the largest ancient wooden architectural complex existing in the world at present. When you visit the Forbidden City, you can take the barrier free elevator up to Meridian Gate where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Tiananmen Square. With the elevator, you can freely visit Hall of Supreme Harmony, the Hall of Complete Harmony, Hall of Perfect Harmony and other main attractions. The administrator of the park also designs a barrier free tour along the central axis which is around 1 km from the south to north. In the middle section, the smooth paved path, the rampway with ground mat and the detachable gates of palace are all designed to be barrier free. You can just sit on your wheelchair and visit most of the park.
After having your Chinese lunch, continue to visit the Temple of Heaven, the landmark of Beijing, where emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties would hold the Heaven worshipping ceremony every year to pray for good harvest. The specialized trail had been built on the steps which make it easy for you to visit the area. And the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest, the main building inside the temple, is also equipped with ramps for the convenience of people on wheelchairs.  
After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel for a rest.
In the evening, you will be transferred to enjoy your Chinese dinner at local restaurant. Later, enjoy the sensational performance The Legend of Kongfu which is an old martial art with a history of thousands of years. Finally, you will be transferred back to the hotel.

Day 3

Beijing   (B, L, D)

In the morning, you will be transferred to the well-known Badaling Great Wall for a visit. It takes around one and half hours by driving. The Badaling Great Wall is listed among the 8 wonders in the world as well as the World Cultural Heritage. Among the thousand-mile Great Wall, Badaling Great Wall is the first section open to visitors. It is the highlight of Ming Great Wall. We specially select the section in the tour for you because it is not so steep and dangerous, compared with Mutianyu or Juyongguan or other section of Great Wall. Besides, the section is equipped with barrier free passages and cable car. It is friendly for you. According to Beijing Social Welfare Promotion Association for the Disabled, the roundtrip cable car ride at Badaling section of Great Wall is free of charge since 1990 for people who have lower limb disability. You will take a cable car up and down the Great Wall to enjoy the views.
In the afternoon, you will be transferred back to downtown. Go back to your hotel for rest.
During dinner time, you will be transferred to a local Chinese restaurant for dinner. After dinner, be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 4

Beijing -> Shanghai   (B, L)

Visits : Beijing Summer Palace

After breakfast, drive to visit the Summer Palace which is an imperial garden built in late Qing Dynasty. As the largest and best preserved imperial garden in China, Summer Palace had also improved its barrier free facilities. The ramp way had been built for the disabled visitors in Long Corridor.
Then travel to Beijing Zoo. Here you will have the chance to see the giant pandas. After that, you will be transferred to Beijing airport to take your flight to the metropolis Shanghai.
Upon arrival, the wheelchair and 7-seat van are prepared for you. Your local guide and driver will pick you up at the airport and send you to the hotel.
The dinner is on your own arrangement. You can enjoy your dinner at your hotel or outside by yourself.

Day 5

Shanghai   (B, L, D)

After breakfast, you will be driven to visit Yu Garden which is a famous garden in Shanghai built in 1559 A.D. This graceful and stunning private garden is located in the old downtown of Shanghai.The garden is friendly for the disabled people for most part except some pavilions, buildings with steps and rockery attractions. However, the garden is worthwhile for you to visit during your trip in Shanghai. Then, you will be driven to Nanjing Road, which is the most prosperous pedestrian shopping street in Shanghai. You can lounge around the Road. Do nothing but just see native people or their life. Then, travel to the Bund which is very close to Nanjing road and a renowned waterfront with 52 unique buildings of different architectural styles. It had been built with the barrier free passage for the disabled people. You are free to access on the bund and enjoy the fantastic and beautiful skyline of Shanghai.
After your lunch, you will visit the eminent Oriental Pearl TV Tower which is the landmark of Shanghai. The tower is accessible for the wheelchair all the way. You will take the barrier-free lift up to 263M Observation Hall and enjoy an aerial view of the metropolis known as Oriental Paris. It is easy for you to travel here. Later, you will be driven back to your hotel for rest. 
During dinner time, you will be transferred to a local Chinese restaurant for your dinner. After dinner, be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 6

Shanghai   (B, L, D)

This morning, you will be driven to Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center for a visit, where you can get to know the history and the development of the city and its future. You can access it through the priviledged passage for the disabled people. Besides, the center also supplies the free wheelchairs and walking stick. Continue to visit Shanghai Museum, one of the best museums in China where a big collection of bronze-wares, porcelain, minority costumes, ancient furniture, paintings are exhibited. As one of the leading museums in China, Shanghai Museum had improved access facilities more friendly to the disabled people. The specialized barrier free passage, elevator service and free wheelchair had been equipped in the museum. You will easily to visit every exbihition of museum by yourself. 
Then drive to visit the Former French Concession and Xintiandi. Xintiandi is a very popular site for tourists in Shanghai. It converted the local stone-arched houses into trendy bars, restaurants, coffee shops and stores. You must not miss it. Then you will be transferred back to your hotel for a rest.
During dinner time, you will be transferred to a local Chinese restaurant for your dinner. After dinner, be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 7

Shanghai   (B)

You are free till the appointed time. Meet the guide at the hotel and be transferred to Shanghai Pudong International Airport for your homeward flight. End your memorable tour in China.
Special  Cares and Notes
*Apart from local Experienced English-speaking guide, we will arrange the wheel chair and personal assistant for you in each city during the tour.
* When you are on the flight, you will be on your own. But we will call the airline companies in advance to reserve wheel chair service for you. Once the wheel chair service is reserved with the airline companies for you, the flight attendants will prepare a wheel chair and pick you up at the departure hall and send you all the way to the aircraft. When the flight lands at the airport, they will as well send you all the way from the aircraft to the arrival hall where you will meet the guide.
* Please kindly note all wheelchairs are rented freely from two hotels in Beijing and Shanghai. We will pay the deposit 500RMB for the wheelchair rental in Beijing hotel and 800RMB in Shanghai hotel ahead of time.
*Our local guide will send you to the hotel and help you check in at the hotel in each city. You will be informed with the barrier free facilities such as the supermarket, shopping mall or garden in the hotel close-by.
*All restaurants are all specially selected for you with not only delicious local foods but also the barrier free facilities.
*We will get you the room with barrier free facilities in each city provided earlier reservation is made.
* The cost is based on 2 persons. If more tourists reserve the tour, it should be charged case by case. Please inquire with our travel advisor.
* If the tour itinerary is too tight or tired for you, we are glad to adjust flexibly for you. The money will be returned to you on the spot in case of cancelling some sightseeing or meals.
