Day 1

Arrive in Seoul
Upon your arrival, our guide will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day will be free time for you to explore the city on your own.

Day 2

Seoul
Today you will enjoy one day Seat-in-Coach tour within Seoul. You will firstly visit Gyeongbok Palace, the top one must-see site in Seoul. It is a royal palace built by the Joseon Dynasty. It served as the main palace for the kings and their families. Its Outer Court was the offices for the king, and the Inner Court was the living quarters for the royal family. Then you will visit the Forklore Museum which is a perfect place for travelers to know about local traditions and forklore. Then visit Blue House. It the official residence of the President of South Korea, like the White House in Washington. After that, you will explore the South Gate Open Market. It is the largest wholesale market in Korea. It offers almost every product such as kitchen utensils, handicrafts, accessories, food and the like at reasonable prices. Then you will travel to the Secret Garden. It is located at the backyard of the Changdeokgung Palace. It served as a place for resting and entertainment for the kings and the royal families. After that, you will travel to Insadong Alley. It is a small street lined with antique shops and tea shops.

Day 3

Seoul/Gyeongju by Express Train
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Seoul Station and board the express train to Gyeongju. When you arrive in Gyeongju, meet the guide and take an afternoon tour in Gyeongju. You will visit the Tumuli Park. Tumuli Park houses more than 20 tombs, large and small, from the era of Shilla (57BC–935AD). The tombs are believed to be those of kings and court officials. Then you will visit Anapji Pond. It is a manmde pond in Gyeongju National Park. It was part of Banwolseong, the palace complex in the period of Shilla. After that, you will pay a visit to the Gyeongju National Museum which is dedicated to displaying culture and history of the Shilla Dynasty. The museum houses over 80,000 items and among them, around 2,500 pieces are on regular display.

Day 4

Gyeongju
This morning, you will continue the trip in Gyeongju. You will visit Bulkuksa Temple which was built in 528AD during the reign of King Pop-hung, the 23rd king of Shilla Dynasty. It houses the 7 of the National Treasures of South Korea: Dabotap and Seokgatap, two stone pagodas, Lotus Flower Bridge and Seven Treasures Bridge, Blue Cloud Bridge and White Cloud Bridge, Vairocana Buddha statue, Amitabha Buddha statue, and the sarira pagoda. In 1995, together with Seogukram Grotto, Bulguksa was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. Then you will travel to the Seogukram Grotto which lies about 4 km to the east of the temple. The grotto overlooks the Sea of Japan and offers a nice view of the sunrise over the sea. Then you will proceed to the Gyeongju Art Craft Center.

Day 5

Gyeongju/Busan
This morning, you will be transferred to Busan. On your way, you will take a tour to Tongdosa Temple. Tongdosa Temple was built in 646 during the reign of Queen Seondeok of Shilla. The temple is famous because it houses the real relics of the Skyamuni Buddha. In its main hall, there is no Buddha statue. Because of this, the temple is also known as the temple without a Buddha. In the afternoon, you will explore Busan. You will visit Jagalchi Fishery Market which is a fish market where local vendors sell all kinds of sea food. Then you will have a look at the iconic 120-meter-high Busan Tower and Busan Int´l Market,  a good place for shopping.

Day 6

Busan
Today you will continue the sightseeing in Busan. You will travel to the UN Cemetery. Here rest the soldiers from UN nations, who sacrificed their life during the Korean War. In the past, about 11,000 soldiers were interred here. After most of them being escorted home, there are currently 2,300 at the cemetery. After that, you will travel to Busan Municipal Museum. It has a small collection of Korean War photos. Then you will visit Haeundae Aquarium and Yonggungsa Seaside Temple.

Day 7

Bushan/Seoul by Express Train
In the morning, you will travel back to Seoul by Express Train. Then you will be transferred to the Incheon Int´l Airport.
