Day 1

Arrival Hanoi 

Upon arrival at Hanoi Noibai Airport you will be transferred to your hotel where you can relax after your long journey. 
In the evening, you will go to watch Water Puppet Show and enjoy welcome dinner with traditional music or show.
- Water Puppet Show: This is a Vietnamese variation on the ancient Asian puppet tradition. It is believed that every aspect of life is controlled by spirits, so the Vietnamese creatively invented water puppetry as a form of entertainment to satisfy these spirits, using ponds and flooded rice paddies after harvest to stage these impromptu performances.

Day 2

Hanoi - Halong bay - Hanoi 

Today you will leave Hanoi by car for Halong Bay at 8:00 am. You will reach Halong city at about 11:30 am. Then you will get on a private boat where you will enjoy a seafood lunch while cruising past caves, grottoes, floating villages and beaches.

The boat stops at the beautiful Surprise Caves allowing you to visit one of the biggest caves in Halong Bay.  At about 15:30 pm you will be brought back to the pier, and your driver will take you back to Hanoi. Your tour will end at around 7:00pm.

Day 3

Hanoi – Lao Cai - Sapa

In the morning you will have a city-tour of Hanoi, visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum, One pillar pagoda, and Tran Quoc pagoda.

After lunch take a visit to the Temple of Literature; the first university of Vietnam, Army museum, and the Hanoi Flag Tower. Then you can wander around Hoan Kiem Lake, and visit the  Ngocson Temple.

Today you will organize your own evening meal, and afterward be transferred to the railway station where you can take the overnight train to Lao Cai, nearby Sapa.


-Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum:  It is here that Respected Uncle Ho read the Vietnam Manifesto on September 2nd, 1945. There are always two guards dressed in white uniforms standing at the main entrance. The mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays. It is also closed to tourists during October and November, allowing only pilgrims to visit and pay their homage to Respected Uncle Ho. The dress code for entry is very strict. You must wear shirts and long trousers, no shorts. Also, no cameras, hats or bags are allowed.

-Tran Quoc pagoda: The pagoda sits on an island in the West Lake.  It was commissioned by King Ly Nam De 1400 years ago.

-One pillar pagoda: The pagoda is a historic Buddhist temple and regarded as one of Vietnam’s two most iconic temples, along with the Perfume Temple.

-Temple of Literature: This is a Confucian temple containing the Imperial Academy; Vietnam’s first national university and former center of learning in Hanoi. There are various pavilions, halls, statues and stelae of doctors.

Day 4

Lao Cai - Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van Villages

You will arrive in Laocai at 6:00am, and be taken to Sapa by private car. After relaxing and freshening up you will take a trek to Laochai, Tavan village to meet and talk with the native Giay people and explore their daily life. Enjoy local food at lunchtime before being driven back to Sapa where you will spend the night in a hotel.

Day 5

Sapa - Silver Waterfall - Tafin - Hanoi

After breakfast you will be driven to Silver Waterfall, and Heaven Gate to enjoy a beautiful mountainous view, having a nice picnic lunch on the way!

After that you will visit the Dzao, H’mong people in Tafin village.

Then be transferred back to Laocai train station for the overnight train back to Hanoi.

Day 6

Hanoi - Hue

Upon arrival at Hanoi railway station at 6:00am you will be taken to have your breakfast, then you will be transferred to Hanoi airport to take the flight to Hue. When you arrive at Hue you will be picked up by your driver, and start your city tour with a visit to the Imperial Citadel and King Minh Mang tombKing Tu Duc Tomb and the Thien Mu Pagoda.

After your dinner you will take a boat cruise along the Perfume river to admire the sunset and enjoy some Vietnamese traditional folk music. Later you will be driven to your hotel in Hue city.

Day 7

Hue - Danang - Hoian 

In the morning you will be driven to Hoi, traveling through the Hai Van pass and Lang Co beach – one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam.

Then you will visit the Cham museum, which is an open-air collection of Cham sculptures with many sandstone carvings.

Upon arrival in Hoi An and after check-in you will pay a visit to the Ancient town. The evening is free for you to enjoy at your leisure.

Day 8

Hoian - Myson - Hoian

In the morning you will be driven from Hoi An to My Son Holy Land, which is one of the world heritage sites of Vietnam. After visiting there you will be taken back to Hoi An for your lunch.

Enjoy free time in the afternoon – there are beach activities, you can relax on the bank of Thu Bon river or go shopping before being driven back to your hotel.

Day 9

Hoian - Danang – Ho Chi Minh

In the early morning you will be transferred to the airport to take the flight to Saigon where you will be greeted by your tour guide and taken on a city tour.

Your tour begins with a visit to the Reunification Palace, War Museum, and Notre Dame Cathedral. After lunch continue your visit, taking in Binh Tay Market and Thien Hau Pagoda. On route you will stop at China town which should not be missed.

Day 10

Hochiminh City – Mekong Delta

The Mekong Delta trip provides an insight into the life and scenery along the Mekong River. Start your trip by driving to Vinh Long and taking a boat cruise along the Mekong river passing the floating Cai Be Market where you will have a chance to explore the local life and handicraft productions. The boat continues toward Can Tho, allowing you to enjoy the sunset on the way.

Day 11

Hochiminh City – Tayninh – Cu Chi tunnel 

This morning you will be driven to Tay Ninh, which is 100 km away from Hochimnh city. When you get there you will head for the quarter of Cao Dai religion to witness the daily ceremony at Cao Dai Holy See where followers who have come to attend the ceremony wear colored robes; a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism, Christianity and Buddhism.

Today’s lunch is served at local restaurant.

In the afternoon you will continue on to Cu Chi, which is an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. After that you will be transferred back to your hotel.
