Ebizui Park (Goose-Nose-Mouth Park)
It is named after its profile, which looks like a goose’s nose and mouth. Ebizui Park is located in the northwest part of Jiangyin Bridge of Yangtze River, which is one-kilometer distance from downtown of Jiangyin.
This park was established in 1997, and it is the first batch of three-A class tourism zones in China. In 1998, it was ranked to be one of top-ten golden attractions in Wuxi. It is an important section of stronghold travel holiday zone, and it is also the base of patriotic education. In 2002, it was ranked one of Wuxi Eighteen Attractions. As the development of Jiangyin tourism, it has been dramatically changed in image and infrastructure. In 2004, it re-shows its new look. Three itineraries following waterline, bank-line and ridgeline absolutely shows its uniqueness.
Ebizui Park covers 350 mu, mainly occupied by the mountains. The forest is very thick; in this park you can appreciate the beauty of Jiangyin. The gun emplacement of Ming and Qing Dynasties, the sundown of Goose Mountain, the grand bridge of Yangtze River and so on make it be the first selection for leisure. this park is a painitng comprised of building, pavilion, stele, corridor and others. It is worthy of touring in your free time.
