Huaxi Village

 

 

Huaxi village is also called to be the No.1 Village of China. It is located in the east of Jiangyin city (a county-level city directly administered by Wuxi Municipal Government) in Jiangsu Province. Huaxi village was established in 1961, and the original coverage is 0.96 square kilometers with the population of more than 1500 people. Over the past 40 years, under the leadership of Wu Rengbao, villagers tried to spread the slogan of striving and co-working, and worked hard at establishing the socialistic new village. Recently Huaxi village has got the award such as: national advanced basic Communist Party Organization, national civilized Town, national cultural model village, and so on. In the village, Huaxi Golden Pagoda is its symbolic architecture. This pagoda has seventeen stories.

Currently, all the villagers live in their own high-ranked villas, which roughly cover 400 or 600 square meters. And each family at least has the asset from 1000,000 to 10,000,000 RMB, has one or three automobiles. The annual sales revenue is 30.78 billion. The villagers also establish the pagoda groups, tunnels, Longxi Lake, world garden, farmer garden and so on. There are totally more than 80 attractions. Since 1978, travelers from more than 120 countries have visited this village, each yearm the number of travelers is more than 1 million.
