Almost every Chinese knows that Suzhou is an ancient city that have a history of 2,500 years. Traditionally speaking, it has also been a great tourism city. Suzhou's old classical gardens are famous around the world, and many locals like to go to these gardens everyday that they are not enjoying the beautiful scenery but Chinese tea. Tea houses in Suzhou mean good quality and leisurely lifestyle for local people.

In fact, many sightseeing spots in the city have tea houses, like Humble Administrator Garden, Lion Grove Garden, Lingering Garden and so on. This is due to the tea tradition is deep in the city, and locals like tea very much. If a tea house or some rockery is there, the scenery is being the best place in the spot. Suzhou's tea houses are mostly of brick and wooden structure, the glass-wooded frame windows are extended to the floor, which is paved with rectangular brick blocks. The house is quite spacious and abundantly illuminated. Great attention has been paid in interior design. Tables and chairs are old wooden Chinese furniture. Artistic calligraphic and painting works are hung on the walls. Beautiful flowers blossom and waft fragrance to the hall.
