The Jinshanling Apricot Flower Festival

Located in a mountainous region and about 140 kilometers northeast of Beijing, the Jinshanling Great Wall section is the best preserved part of the Great Wall from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), maintaining several original features. There is a festival held in the Jinshanling to celebrate the spring coming.

The Jinshanling Apricot Flower Festival, held in the place, is organized by the Chengde Commission of Tourism Development and the Luanping County People's Government, lasting four weeks with more events, such as qipao fashion show and folk art Lunhua show.

Due to the amazing natural scenery and rich cultural meanings at the Jinshanling Great Wall, tens of thousands of tourists both at home and abroad travel there to enjoy the Chinese activities, including learning tai chi with elders on the Great Wall, or even having special wedding photos.
