The Song Dynasty (960 – 1276) business town has a beautiful name Yangmei, located in Nanning, the regional capital of Guangxi, southwest China. It has very easy access to three local rivers, which have made boat traffic convenient and doing business at ease. A Chinese traveler from the Ming Dynasty has highly praised the beautiful scenery, a peninsular surrounded by rivers on its three sides. What's more, the architecture here remains intact and well preserved.

There are some tourist attractions here recommended such as Kuixing House, the Qing Dynasty Street, Architecture from Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Former Residence of Liang Lieya (a martyr during China's Democratic Revolution in 1911).

A 300-meter-long bluestone street seems quite narrow, along which ancient residential architecture is so nice. A wall is painted some of the quotations by Chairman Mao Zedong, but the Chinese characters of which are barely recognized.
