Shanghai Music Box Museum
The museum is the only one in China
to display music boxes from Europe and its history and development. Totally about 200 items in two categories: antique music boxes and automatic dolls are housed inside the museum. It is a place that records the time-honored art of music boxes.

This museum was founded by a clock collector from Nanjing, whose name is Liu Guoding. Mr. Liu has collected more than 70 clocks. These handmade clocks are named Nanjing Clocks which originated in Nanjing in the middle of 19th century. The manufacturing of Nanjing Clocks was stopped during the Sino-Japan War and never resumed and therefore there are just a few such clocks left in the market.
